Collier County Convention & Visitors Bureau's Annual Marketing Summit at Rookery Bay

On Thursday, June 27th, leaders of the tourism industry from all over Collier County gathered at Rookery Bay to take a look back at the year in review and begin planning for the future that lies ahead.

Despite the damage done by Hurricane Irma it was an impressive year for the tourism industry. CVB Executive Director Jack Wert shared the encouraging statistics with the group.

As an added bonus, having the meeting at Rookery Bay allowed us to take a nice break during the middle of the day to enjoy the natural environment and some fresh air.

In order to begin preparing for the upcoming tourism season, we broke out into small groups to share ideas about how we can better promote the amazing attributes of our destination with the rest of the world and effectively attract more visitors to our area.

We would like to thank the CVB for having us and Rookery Bay for hosting us. It was an enlightening and productive day for all who attended and we look forward to another record breaking year for the Paradise Coast.
